Traders and contracts
The Sanctuary's traders, trust levels, contracts, keys, upgrades and the casino.
The traders
| Trader | Deals in |
|---|---|
| The Bone Merchant | A bit of everything; pays best for materials and fish |
| The Armourer | Blades, armour and shields |
| The Powder-Wright | Bows and long guns |
| The Apothecary | Rings, amulets, charms and remedies |
Traders pay a little more for the goods they deal in.
Trust
Each contract pays gold plus trust with that trader, through six levels: Stranger, Known, Trusted, Valued, Friend, Sworn. More trust means discounts, better prices for what you sell, bigger stalls and much rarer stock. A Sworn trader now and then keeps a Mythic back for you.
Contracts
Every trader posts four jobs, rerolled after each expedition. You take one at a time; it shows under your minimap.
- Fetch: bring a number of a material.
- Deliver: bring an item of a kind at a rarity or better.
- Slay, marksman, chests, delve: kill knights, zombies, goblins, wendigos or drakes, kill with a bow or musket, open chests, or reach a depth. These count only when you get out alive.
The Key Cutter
Sells Vault Keys, Abyssal Keys, Ember Vials and Purifying Salts from your banked gold. See keys.
The Satchel-Wright
Permanent upgrades: a bigger backpack (12 slots to start, up to 24) and a bigger stash (40 to start, up to 100).
The Gilded Ossuary
The Sanctuary's casino: roulette, blackjack and no-limit hold'em against skeletons, solo or with your party, and through the arch the Moon's Maw slot hall with eight machines and a Grand jackpot. See Games in the Sanctuary.
